The Game
How long are the games?
Each game consists of two 20-minute halves, stopped time.
How long are the warm-ups?
There is a 5-minute warm-up that commences at the start of game-time.
What happens if it is a tie at the end of regulation time?
There is a 5-minute sudden-death overtime. The first four minutes will be running time with the last minute being stopped time.
Which team provides the scoresheet?
Scorekeepers will provide the scoresheets.
Which team provides the scorekeeper?
There will be league provided scorekeepers.
Why are the referees telling my team that we need a smelly puck or IDS Power Shot puck?
As voted by the captains at the captains' meeting, the official PICH game puck for 2006 are the smelly pucks or IDS Power Shot pucks, RED in color.
Each team is to provide one game puck per game. If a team does not provide an official game puck, they will be awarded a 2-minute penalty at the start of the game.
How can we get some game pucks?
You can purchase these pucks from Cyclone Taylor Sports.
Equipment
How can I get the conflict jerseys?
There is a set of conflict jerseys at Richmond Ice Centre and Minoru Arenas. Please ask the referee prior to your game and they will get it for your team. Then return it to the refs at the end of the game.
Can I wear track pants or tearaways?
As long as you cover all your equipment, then yes. However, these pants must be taped down for safety reasons.
Can we wear our stoppers on our inline skates?
No stoppers are allowed on the floor at any of the played rinks. Can goalies remove their inner wheels on their skates?
For safety reason, inline skates must have ALL their wheels on.
ID Sheets Why do I need an ID Sheet?
Without an ID Sheet, a team will NOT be eligible to play. Referees have been instructed to NOT start a game unless an ID sheet is present from both teams.
What happens if we lost one of our ID Sheet?
The league has provided each team with TWO copies of their ID sheet. There should be NO excuses on why a team should not have at least one of their ID sheets at each game. The ID sheet MUST be present at the start of the game.

When is the deadline to make ID sheet changes?
June 1st of each Season.

Can the player play right away?
The change will take 3 days to process. Once you have received your new roster, the player will then be eligible to play.
How many changes can one team make?
Teams can make up to three id sheet changes (ie. sheets and not number of players).
Import
What is an import?
Please refer to the new rules for 2006 found on the home page.
Goalies do not count as imports. How many imports can a team have?
A team can have up to three imports.
Tiering
Is tiering complete?
No. Tiering will continue throughout your first four games
How will this affect the standings?
Games will only count to the standings if they were played against a team in your own tier.
Playoffs
How is the playoffs going to work?
Playoffs will work as in previous years. The first couple of rounds will be single knock-outs. Finals will be a best of three series.
