Explanation on league expulsion

Teams that were expelled have had an excess of fines and suspensions.  Their conduct was grossly inappropriate and showed disregard for safety of other players, officials and spectators.  Their abuse of officials reflects poorly on each player of their team.  Our league is better off without such antics.  Should the team or any (suspended) player on the teams wish to re-enter the league for the 2005 season, they must do so with a letter in writing explaining their case accompanied with full payment of any outstanding fines.  

To the player that received a lifetime ban from the league, he had a serious lack of respect for the game, the league, referees, and his teammates.  He was a repeat offender who was given a second chance this year even after a serious incident in 2003.  His behaviour was dangerous and reckless; physically confronting and involving a referee in an altercation crosses the line between emotions within a sports realm and serious anger management issues.
